The Links at Carne is a without doubt one of Ireland’s hidden gems. Situated on the North Mayo coastline, this stunning Links course is one of the jewels of the Wild Atlantic Way. Its remote location means it doesn’t get the throughput of visitors it deserves, and I firmly believe if the course was situated in Kerry it would be rated amongst the world’s best. This is a terrific challenge.
Nice overview of the Links, this is really worth the trip.
One of my favourite holes, always hit an extra club, trust me!
Some of the dunes here at Carne are amazing, makes judging the wind very difficult though, be warned!
The clubhouse awaits, and a well deserved pint of Guinness!
One of the biggest greens at Carne, can be a 3 club difference depending on the pin position.
Straight driving is a must here at Carne, this picture explains why!
